Berkshire Broilers

Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026

Berkshire Broilers (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you place an order, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it under UK data protection law.

Who we are

Berkshire Broilers, Birchin Inhams Farm, RG40 3AP.
Contact: [email protected]

What we collect

When you place a Broiler Buck pre-order or a Subscribe & Deliver order, we collect your full name, email address, and phone number — and, for Subscribe & Deliver, your delivery address.

We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Revolut's hosted checkout; your card information goes directly to Revolut, not to us.

Why we collect it

  • To process and fulfil your order
  • To send you order confirmation and collection/delivery reminder emails
  • To contact you if there's a problem with your order, such as a payment issue

We don't use your data for marketing, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

Who we share it with

  • Revolut (payment processing) — receives your name and email to process payment. Your card details go directly to Revolut and never pass through us.
  • Resend (email delivery) — receives your email address and order details to send confirmation and reminder emails on our behalf.
  • Neon (database hosting) and Hostinger (web hosting) — store the data above on our behalf.

None of these providers use your data for their own marketing, and we don't share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for 6 years after your order, in line with HMRC's record-keeping requirements for business accounts, after which they're deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access the data we hold about you
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • ask us to delete your data, subject to our legal obligation to keep accounting records
  • object to or restrict how we use your data
  • receive your data in a portable format
  • complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

Cookies

The public site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. We use one strictly necessary cookie so farm staff can log into the order-management dashboard — this isn't set for ordinary site visitors.

Children

This service is intended for adults placing food orders. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy
